The Bag Valve Mask (BVM) method of resuscitation has many
advantages over the traditional expired air methods, and as a
result has become a recognised form of resusciation amongst
various training organisations.

Enables the resuscitator to visually monitor the diver, whilst reuscitating
Can be used in conjunction with standard diver Oxygen therapy kits with a constant flow valve
Less effort is needed compared to other expired air methods, this can be particularly useful when there is a long wait for the emergency services
